Dec. 15--At its final meeting of the year Thursday the Ravenswood School District Board unanimously chose interim Superintendent Maria De La Vega as its permanent district head. De La Vega was expected to be chosen as permanent superintendent in a Nov. 29 special meeting, but the board postponed the decision until newly elected trustees John Bostic, Larry Moody and Marcelino Lopez took office Dec. 1. They were sworn in Thursday before selecting De La Vega in a closed session.
