Dec. 17--A combination of pressure, man-to-man defense and the hot shooting hand of junior Caroline Doty carried Germantown Academy to a 55-40 victory over Cardinal O'Hara last night in an early-season clash of area girls' basketball powers. It was the feature game on the opening day of the Patriots' 10th annual Make-A-Wish Foundation Tournament. The Patriots will meet the Peddie School at 8:30 tonight, while O'Hara faces Archbishop Ryan at 3:30 today.
