Dec. 18--Nearly every day, Mattie Brooks visited the lot where her Habitat for Humanity house would stand. She couldn't believe she would become a homeowner. "I was still pinching myself," said Ms. Brooks, who moved into the Plano home five years ago. Her house was the third built by Habitat's South Collin County chapter. Last weekend, the chapter handed over the keys to its 25th house. More than half have been built in the last 2 1/2 years.
