Dec. 18--BA R S T OW -- Va r i o u s appointments are on the agenda for tonight's City Council Meeting.
City Council is scheduled to discuss and determine which council members will be serve on a dozen committees and boards on i s s u e s s u ch as air quality to solid waste, to flood control, to gaming.
The council may also choose a new mayor pro tem. Steve Curran, who was elected this summer, took up the reins of mayor pro tem after mayor pro tem Gloria Darling resigned. Typically, however, a new mayor pro tem is selected following the certification of the November City Council elections.
