Dec. 19--David Shelofsky, a former U.S. Bank fraud investigator and Bend-area real estate developer, pleaded guilty Monday to defrauding the bank of $1.3 million over three years.
Shelofsky, 38, of West Linn entered his plea to one count of bank fraud before U.S. District Court Judge Garr King in Portland. Federal authorities recommended he be sentenced to at least 37 months in prison and a possible fine. King scheduled sentencing for March 26.
