Dec. 19--AMMAN -- At 18, Karim Said is no longer the "child prodigy" he once was. An "adult prodigy", says Kifah Fakhouri, director of the National Music Conservatory (NMC) where Said studied for three years until he left for England to attend the Purcell School of Music at age 11. The Jordanian pianist will perform at the Royal Cultural Centre on December 20, accompanied by the Orchestra of the NMC, under the conductorship of renowned composer and NMC's Assistant Director of Academic Affairs Mohammed Othman Sidiq.
