State Supreme Court Justice William F. McDermott has granted a preliminary injunction to prevent removal of trees from property owned by AFV Enterprises Inc. in Slingerlands. The action was sought by Kenneth Ringler, chairman of the Bethlehem Planning Board, and town Building Inspector John Flanigan against AFV Enterprises, Frederick W. Biernacki and Sons Inc. and Frederick W. Biernacki following the felling of trees April 29 near Kenwood and New Scotland avenues.
The property is owned by AFV and the trees were cut down by the Biernacki firm of Albany, Ringler said.
