Apollonia's role in Prince's film "Purple Rain" didn't prove her a great actress, nor did her role in TV's "Falcon Crest." And her role in the short-lived group Apollonia Six didn't prove her a great singer, either. The movie and band are five years in the past, however, and anyone can make a turnaround. Apollonia does just that, taking a giant step toward credibility with her self-titled solo debut.
