A new not-for-profit corporation, Park Playhouse Inc., is expected to be in place within 10 days to become the mechanism for an outdoor musical theater season at Washington Park, according to Daniel Klepak, budget director for the City of Albany.
Venustiano Borromeo and Chris Catt, two New York directors who worked at "Live At The Lakehouse" last season, have been named artistic directors by Mimi Scott, unsalaried executive producer for the new venture. "Their salaries have been guaranteed by the city," Scott says.
