For many families today, the Easter meal is a time for togetherness and tradition, a time for ham and Grandma's ham sauce, for garlic- scalloped potatoes, lemon-buttered asparagus and crisp green garden salads. In many families, the menu is not one to be tampered with except in the area of dessert - and here the designated hostess may well be given free rein, as long as something chocolate is served.
