This summer at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center a good deal of the audience may be able to sit back and hum along with the Philadelphia Orchestra as it makes its way through August concerts that will be big on living legends from several familiar corners of the musical world.
Scores for film and television, the kind of music we are supposed to remember but not get stuck on, will be conducted by one of the industry's giants, Henry Mancini, on Aug. 11.
