Ted Danson gives you the feeling he thinks he should be a better person.
That's not to say there's anything wrong with him.
It's just that he makes you suspect he spends a lot of time thinking about, and working at not getting caught up in, the star stuff that goes along with having a longtime hit TV series in "Cheers" and scoring at the big screen box office, too, with 1988 winner "Three Men and a Baby."
So, he thinks he'll do another season, maybe two, of "Cheers," and worry a lot about how to keep it fresh.
