With the Waterford-Halfmoon School District bond referendum one day away, residents have been quiet about the issue.
And that has left school district officials unsure about the outcome.
Voters go to the polls Thursday to decide the fate of the $2.7 million proposal. The money would go toward replacing eight portable classrooms with eight permanent ones. The plan also calls for an elevator to make the high school wing accessible to the handicapped, construction of a hallway to connect elementary and secondary wings and improvements to the library.
