Syracuse University football coach Dick MacPherson on Monday defended the school's policy of barring women reporters from entering the team's locker room.
"They (reporters) all see the same guys at the same place at the same time. How's that unfair?" said MacPherson, responding to complaints the past two weeks by female reporters covering Syracuse games.
The editor of Rutgers University's student newspaper has complained that reporter Joanna Cagan was banned from the Syracuse locker room Saturday after the Orangemen's win over Rutgers.
