MELVIN SIMON & Associates Inc. is facing a combined property tax of more than $1 million on University Mall in Little Rock and McCain Mall in North Little Rock. The Indianapolis-based developer isn't happy about footing this annual bill, either.
The company filed suit June 17 in Pulaski County Circuit Court appealing a decision by the Pulaski Board of Equalization, which upheld the fair market values of the malls determined by the assessor's office.
