Dec. 20--Christmas Eve dining covers more than those cookies for Santa Claus. Indeed, it is widely known that Santa loves cannoli, Nonna's cheesecake, and does pretty well with biscotti, too. Sometimes he and the elves precede the sweets with a seafood feast, but that's another matter. Many Long Island restaurants are open on this celebratory night. Here's a little taste. The primary advice for these and other eateries: Make your reservations immediately.
