A Vermont- based owner and operator of bowling alleys has entered into an option to buy Clifton Park Bowl Inc. in Halfmoon.
J. Richard Corley, president of Bowl New England Inc., declined to reveal the exact purchase price, but said it would be somewhat over $1 million.
The projected purchase of the 36-lane bowling alley on Route 9 would give Bowl New England, based in Cochester, Vt., five local facilities.
Bowl New England - with revenues of $15 million - operates 15 bowling alleys in six states.
