From the city's South End to Pine Hills to its western reaches, insurgent Democrats on Thursday launched their latest - and most wide reaching - attack on the party organization.
Nearly 50 insurgent Democrats in eight of the city's 15 wards filed petitions to gain a spot on September's primary ballot for the Albany County Democratic Committee, easily the most challenges the party has faced in decades, if not ever.
