Dec. 20--Olmsted County has just about had it with giving this year -- it's time for the county to receive, local leaders told area state legislators Tuesday.
Among the items on the county's holiday wish-list:
-- Help from the state to cope with up to $2 million in federal human-services aid cuts next year without reducing services;
-- Restoration of $800,000 in state funding for an incinerator construction project. That money was cut out of the state's budget last year in an 11th-hour deal;
-- More money to repair local roads and bridges;
