The trustee operating the bankrupt Delaware & Hudson Railway Co. is expected to report today on his progress in trying to sell the line.

Trustee Francis P. DiCello received offers from three railroads in April for the entire 1,600-mile Watervliet-based line.

The bidders are: CP Rail, a subsidiary of Canadian Pacific Ltd., reported to have an inside track in the negotiations; Delaware Otsego Corp. of Cooperstown, which had operated the railroad under an Interstate Commerce Commission order; and the Providence and Worcester Railroad Co., a regional carrier that operates lines in Rhode Island, ...
