Not too many years ago, most anglers looked upon sharks with contempt. These ferocious fish were nothing more than man-eating monsters who stole your bait and mutilated game fish. But times have changed.
Ever since the great white opened its mouth in the movie "Jaws" and devoured the fishing boat "Orka," and captain Quint right along with it, saltwater fishermen have discovered that sharks are not only fun to catch, they put up a good fight when caught on light tackle and in some cases, make excellent table fare.
