Screaming fans gave Donnie Wahlberg of the pop group New Kids on the Block a tumultuous sendoff from the hospital Tuesday where he recuperated from injuries suffered in a fall on stage.
About 200 fans, mostly teenage girls, greeted the 20-year-old Wahlberg as his bodyguard escorted him out of the main entrance of Saratoga Hospital at 10:15 a.m. after a two- day stay.
Wahlberg was treated for a gash in his chin that required six stitches and he also suffered cuts to his chest, arm and mouth when he fell through a stage trap door during the New Kids' Sunday night concert at the Saratoga Raceway.
