Working the lunchtime crowd at Jack's Oyster House on Tuesday, Alfonse D'Amato looked nothing like a public official under investigation.
Despite charges that he used his office to benefit political contributors, D'Amato remains a celebrity, part of the 100-member U.S. Senate - this country's most exclusive club.
