Several Newtonville residents, especially those on Ashley Drive, continue to grumble about traffic headaches they expect from a 25-home subdivision approved by the Planning Board this week.
Neighbors fear additional traffic will roll through their quiet, dead-end street on their way to Maxwell Road, according to Charles Liotta, 17 Ashley Dr.
"Maxwell Road is an extremely busy road, and several neighbors on Ashley felt the major egress was on Ashley," said Patricia Relation of nearby East Newton Road. "It was a very difficult situation."
