FALLS CHURCH, Va. -- The Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates has selected DynCorp International LLC to provide depot-level maintenance, supply-chain management, information technology services, maintenance training, facilities management, and commercialization for its fleet of 17,000 ground vehicles. Dyncorp International LLC is the operating company of DynCorp International Inc (NYSE:DCP).
The contract, which is under the authority of the UAE Land Forces' General Maintenance Directorate (GMD), is valued at approximately $163 million over seven years, after which the GMD can exercise an option to renew for an additional five years.
