Dec. 21--LOUDONVILLE -- As he stepped onto the basketball court Wednesday inside Alumni Recreation Center, Mousse Diop stopped to say hello to his coach, Fran McCaffery, who broke into a wide grin and said, "Well, well, he's back." Back to practice, anyway. Diop, a 6-foot-10 senior, returned to the court after missing the season's first eight games with a broken right ankle. Diop has been cleared by doctors, though McCaffery said he remains uncertain if the backup center will play Saturday against Buffalo. "We'll see how he does," McCaffery said.
