Non-profits looking to host a fund- raiser can use the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall for their activities.

The bank is making the hall available free of charge for the fourth consecutive year.

Between January 1990 and May 1991, the hall hosted 22 fund-raisers. Among the beneficiaries were the Junior Museum of Troy, Opera Excelsior, the Leukemia Society and the Troy YWCA.

The event need not be sponsored by a non-profit group, but all proceeds must go to a tax-exempt organization, said Harry Robinson, senior vice president at Troy Savings Bank. The bank must also receive the application in writing, with information on the program planned and how ...
