Helen Widman strolled close to the large, matted area where a crowd was slowly gathering.
"Heidi, sit," she occasionally said to the leashed black Labrador pup at her side. "Good girl."
"Her name is Heidi, too," said John Sargalis referring to his dog, which stood near to him in that Eastern Avenue parking lot of the Price Chopper store. "Only she is a lab and collie mix."
Mistress and master respectively, Widman and Sargalis had responded Thursday morning to an invitation extended by Don Hoskins to "come and bring your dogs and see the fabulous flying Frisbee dogs."
