A proposal that would see the county take over local management of the federally funded Retired Senior Volunteer Program is headed to the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors for a vote next week.
The board's Law and Finance Committee on Wednesday approved a resolution authorizing the county to apply for and accept a $34,950 grant to be used for managing the seniors program through 1992. The nationwide program is a clearinghouse for hundreds of volunteers serving organizations and individuals.
