Morgan Sloane and Michael Borden hope to do for Benedict Arnold what the movie "Patton" did for Old Blood and Guts.
Sure, Benedict Arnold was a traitor and megalomaniac, and his name has been demonized into a synonym for treachery. But for the writer-directors from Los Angeles, touring the scene of Arnold's triumph at the Battle of Saratoga, Arnold has been profoundly misunderstood, an existential hero ahead of his time.
