Town police are searching for a man who robbed a clerk at the Mobil Mart on Central Avenue Tuesday evening.
A small amount of cash was taken at about 6:30 p.m. by a man wearing blue jeans, a stone-washed jean jacket and a blue-and-white baseball cap, police said. He had his hand under his jacket but displayed no weapon and demanded money from the cash register.
The robber was described to police as a white man with brown hair, 25 to 30 years old, 5 foot 7 inches tall, between 140 and 150 pounds.
Police asked anyone with information to call them at 783-2811.
