For a week now, Eastern Michigan has been painted - fairly and accurately - as this tough, little fellow, slinging rocks at giants and letting everyone know that a pretty decent brand of basketball is played in the Mid-American Conference.
But there is big, the way UCLA, which EMU upset in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, was big, and then there is BIG. North Carolina, as Eastern Michigan discovered Friday night at Byrne Arena, falls into the latter category.
