In 1993, Hahn Loeser & Parks didn't have an Indian law practice. What a difference six months can make.
Today, the Cleveland law firm is working with four different American Indian clients on 21 potential projects that primarily deal with Indian gaming.
One of the deals, which involves the Apache Tribe of Oklahoma, was announced last month. Hahn Loeser represents developers who want to build a high-stakes gaming facility in the southwestern United States, said Paul N. Filzer, the attorney Hahn Loeser brought in this year to start the firm's Indian Law Group.
