Kuwaiti officials, anticipating a swift return to their war-scarred homeland, on Monday urged exiled government employees to get ready to go back to work.

The Kuwait Interior Ministry, based since August in the western Saudi Arabian city of Taif, urged police and immigration staffs in exile to immediately contact their "security committees" in the countries in which they are staying.
