Vocal music has emerged as the dominant force on the simulcasted WROW-FM (95.5) and WROW-AM (590), with instrumentals taking a back seat.
Program director Jim Gagliardi said that the former easy-listening combo has now moved to a "soft adult contemporary" style with a 70 to 30 percent dominance of vocals.
