JERUSALEM - Iraq launched missile attacks at Israel late Saturday and early today and both Scuds landed in the central area, which includes the occupied West Bank.
Brig. Gen. Nachman Shai said the second missile was fired from western Iraq at 1:30 a.m. (6:30 p.m. EST), about five hours after the first attack.
During each attack, residents of Israel were ordered to don gas masks and enter their sealed rooms for about half an hour in case the missile was tipped with a chemical warhead. But it appeared that both missiles ...
