The governor's son, Andrew Cuomo, is under consideration for a high-ranking Clinton administration job in the Department of Housing and Urban Development, according to those familiar with the White House transition team's work.

Whether Cuomo, a longtime political adviser to his father, is interested in the job is unknown; he did not return repeated phone calls for comment placed over the past two days to the Washington office where he has been working with transition officials.
