At Father Martin's Ashley, a 66-bed center treating both alcoholism and chemical dependency, we established one of the nation's earliest relapse prevention programs just three years after opening our doors in 1983. Since 1986 more than 3,000 patients have been treated at our Maryland facility. The relapse program schedule is completely separate from our primary treatment track. Even the treatment team meetings are held at separate times. The only overlap occurs with the morning lecture, usually presented by Father Martin.
