Article: JAPAN'S NEXTCOM, MITSUI KNOWLEDGE TO MERGE IN 2007.

TOKYO, Dec 22 Asia Pulse - Nextcom KK (TSE:2665) and Mitsui Knowledge Industry Co. (TSE:4846), each a Mitsui & Co. (TSE:8031) group firm listed on the second section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, announced on Thursday that they will merge on April 1 next year.

Nextcom will be the surviving entity. MKI stockholders will receive 0.048 Nextcom shares for each MKI share. MKI will be delisted around March 27 and dissolved later.
