LOS ANGELES, Dec. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- A person who overheard the conversation between HarperCollins attorney Mark Jackson and Judith Regan that News Corp. has deemed anti-Semitic and led to her firing has contacted Ms. Regan's attorney and confirmed that Ms. Regan did not make the remarks attributed by News Corp. to her.
On December 19, News Corp. released what they alleged to be notes of a conversation between Ms. Regan and Mr. Jackson during which, according to Mr. Jackson, Ms. Regan declared that Jane Friedman, Chief Executive of HarperCollins and others, "constitute a Jewish cabal against her."
