Dec. 22--Two Gov. Mifflin High School students were arrested and charged with stealing 25 laptop computers with a total value of $30,000 in a series of burglaries at three district schools from late October to Dec. 12, authorities said Thursday.
The students, both 16-year-old boys from Kenhorst, were committed to the Berks County Youth Center in Bern Township to await a hearing before juvenile authorities, Shillington Police Chief Andrew R. Hivner said.
Police withheld the teens' names because they are juveniles.
