It was Jorgan Vig Knudstorp's first day as head of strategy at Lego, the iconic toy retailer. The former management consultant had been parachuted in to help the struggling Danish superbrand. But not all of Lego's staff seemed impressed by Knudstorp's pedigree.
"I hear you come from the world of PowerPoint presentations,'' said one long-serving member of Lego staff to the new recruit, before adding tersely, "welcome to reality.''
