Dec. 26--Minister of Industry, Trade and Labor Eli Yishai is calling on the Ministry of Finance to cancel the budget cut for the Investment Promotion Center, and to increase its budget by NIS 500 million instead. He told "Globes", "The Investment Center's 2007 budget renders the Law for the Encouragement of Capital Investment meaningless. Without a budget supplement of NIS 500 million, there is no Investment Center. This will hurt outlying areas and deter foreign investment."
