According to the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), five to seven million children in the U.S. ages six years old and older battle bedwetting. Although it is a common condition, bedwetting can be awkward and embarrassing for both parent and child. While there is no known cure, physicians tell us most children will grow out of it, typically by the ages of nine to twelve. In the meantime, new advances in treatment can help manage the symptoms and control bedwetting episodes.
