PAUL STOKES, the self-styled inventor accused of harassing broadcaster Pat Kenny, told a court today that his actions came out of frustration because his invention to stop all road accidents was being ignored.

He told the Cloverhill court that he had nothing against Pat Kenny but the reasons for his actions were that he was being ignored by the Department of Transport, the Taoiseach Mr Ahern, and the Bank of Ireland over the past four months.

Stokes, from Montpelier Parade, Monkstown, Co Dublin, said he had nothing at all against Mr Kenny but none of these parties had turned up at press conferences which he had funded ...
