Dec. 29--When a hockey team goes 19 days between games, UNO coach Mike Kemp said, it's pretty much impossible to carry any momentum into that first post-break contest. So the Mavs and their coach are treating the five-game winning streak they enjoyed from Nov. 25 through Dec. 10 like it was ancient history. That's not to say there's no benefit to entering the holiday vacation on a roll. The team that goes into the break playing well, Kemp said, always will be more eager to return to the rink.
