Timberland, Stratham, N.H., has promoted four executives to head up its four global segments. Gene McCarthy, Mike Harrison, Scott Thresher and Gary Smith will serve as presidents of the Authentic Youth, CasualGear, Industrial and Outdoor groups, respectively. McCarthy was previously VP of footwear; Harrison was formerly SVP of the firm's international business; Thresher had been group VP of North America; and Smith served as SVP of supply chain management and GM of outdoor performance.
