Six minutes away from a convincing victory in the Sun Bowl, the Tigers let a 14-point lead disappear against Oregon State as one gutsy call ended MU's 2006 on the sourest of notes. With 22.1 seconds left, Matt Moore's 14-yard touchdown pass to Joe Newton put Oregon State in position to tie the score with the extra point, but during a timeout MU called so that replay officials could review the pass, Beavers Coach Mike Riley decided to try a 2-point conversion.
