Jan. 1--There's no question that nobody on the UNO hockey team will forget that improbable 4-4 tie Saturday night at Yale. But without a doubt, the final weekend of 2006 was not the one the Mavs wanted to remember. The University of Nebraska at Omaha went 0-1-1 on its East Coast trip to Princeton and Yale, coming up empty on numerous chances to win both games in the third period. Each night, however, the Mavs left these Ivy League campuses frustrated about the position they put themselves in entering the late portions of the game.
