The Village of Ballston Spa, located at the head of the lower valley of the Kayaderosseras and Gordon Creeks, is the center of government for Saratoga County.
Most of the village, which had its beginnings in 1765, lies in the town of Milton to the north of Route 67 and East High Street, with the southern portion extending across the same town line into the Town of Ballston.
Today, the Village of Ballston Spa is a bedroom community to the Capital District - its residents either work in the village in small shops, businesses, the school district or in Saratoga Springs, just seven miles north. Others commute ...
